Most of our alpaca fibre produced by our alpaca herd at Moore House is turned into luxury yarns, sought after by hand knitters from far and wide. What fibre isn't used for yarn is turned into incredible alpaca duvets.
We have recently expanded our line of offerings of alpaca products to include more apparel and items for the home, made by manufacturers in Canada, USA, and Peru. Not all alpaca products are created equal and some is of questionable fibre content. Our standards here are incredibly high and we only offer items of superior quality. Be confident when placing an order that we stand behind our product. We love alpaca and we want you to love it too! Simple.

These classic 100% Alpaca woven capes are hand-finished with a lovely hand-crocheted border by talented artisans. With beautifully finished buttons down the full length of the front, the cape can be worn fully buttoned or left open. Select either a longer length cape featuring an attached scarf with fringe or a slightly shorter length cape with an attached hood. Either cape will make a bold fashion statement while keeping the cold elements at bay.
These capes have been accredited by the International Alpaca Association (IAA), signifying that they meet the highest standards of the Alpaca Industry in terms of fibre content and quality.

For all the folks out there who love our Moore House Thrum Mitt Paca Pacs (knit kit) but don't wish to knit their own, we now offer ready-to-wear Thrum Mittens! Made with 100% superfine alpaca, these mittens are the warmest mitten ever. It is said that the thrumming technique hails from Newfoundland and Labrador - whereby every few stitches, a piece of alpaca roving is inserted into the knitting, leaving the dreamy soft tails of pure alpaca fleece inside the mitten. Putting your hand into one of these mittens is like putting it into a cloud!
These particular thrummed mittens are of superior quality and offer copious amounts of thrumming, unlike many thrummed mittens I've seen in the market.

These easy to wear slippers are made from 100% alpaca felted fabric. They are available in a vibrant pink as well as a more reserved dark brown. The inside of the dark brown slippers are lined with alpaca fur and the sole is a sturdy rubber. The pink slippers are lined with fleece and decorated with colourful cording. The sole is made of thick foam and suede. Both pairs are decorated with the softest 100% baby alpaca fur at the foot opening which makes your feet feel like they are in heaven.

A blend of Alpaca, fine wool, and hemp, these insoles give your shoes and boots just what your feet need to stay cushioned and extra warm in cold weather. They can be trimmed easily to fit inside your own footwear.
